Auf Grundlage des Konzeptes „Solo mit dem Sound einer Band“ interpretiere ich weltberühmte Beatles- u. Stones-Songs in wechselnder Reihenfolge (50/50), garniert mit Hintergrundgeschichten und Anekdoten. Soweit möglich bzw. gewünscht auch als Duo.
Wie hat z.B. Keith Richards auf 5 Saiten den typischen Stones-Sound kreiert und viele der großen Stones-Hits komponiert? Oder wie entstand der berühmte Anfangsakkord von „A Hard Day’s Night“ der Beatles? Wie wie kam es 1967 bei „Penny Lane“ zu dem ungewöhnlichen Einsatz der Piccolo-Trompete? Hören Sie einzigartige Versionen nicht nur dieses Songs und tauchen Sie für etwa 2 Stunden ein in die faszinierende Welt dieser Legenden, die mit ihrer Musik einen bis heute andauernden Einfluss auf Millionen von Pop- und Rockmusikern haben und gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen mitprägten.
Optionen:
Statt einer Aufteilung 50/50 kann wahlweise eine reine Beatles- oder Stones-Show präsentiert werden. Die Spielzeit kann auf ca. 1 Stunde gekürzt werden, z.B. als After-Work-Show oder zur Bereicherung eines Seminartages, als Show-Act für Rivercruises, Hotels und andere Gelegenheiten . Die Performance kann bei Bedarf in Englisch erfolgen, erfolgreich erprobt in über 240 Shows für USA/GB-Publikum.

THE BEATLES & THE ROLLING STONES – a tribute to 2 icons of pop-rock history.
Based on his concept „Solo with the sound of a band“, Enrico Novi plays world-famous Beatles and Stones songs in alternating order, garnished with background stories about the creation, lyrics etc. For example, did you know that Keith Richards composed most of the big Stones hits with an open guitar tuning and minimal playing? How did the Beatles create the opening chord of „A Hard Day’s Night“? And how did the famous trumpet solo on „Penny Lane“ come about in 1967? Listen to a unique version of this song and immerse yourself for about 2x 1 hour in the fascinating world of these legends, who had an immense and lasting influence on millions of musicians and shaped social developments.
Good to know: The show will be performed entirely in English. Instead of a 50:50 split, either a pure Beatles show or a Stones show can be presented. The playing time can be shortened to approx. 1 hour, e.g. for a show on a river cruise ship or as an after-work show to enrich a seminar day, etc.
